Curtain Raiser for 4th International Sufi Festival India

The curtain raiser for the 4th International Sufi Festival India was held at Al Ikhlas Museum and Gallery, Ajmer.

Chief Guest Dewan & Head of Ajmer Shariff Dargah  Syed Zainul Abedin Ali Khan inaugurated the event.

Gulsha begum festival director & Chairperson Kamaluddin Charitable Trust said the event was to seek the blessing of the revered Sufi saint of Ajmer shariff dargah as a tradition before the festival travelled in December to New Delhi

The event was followed by Sufi Painting exhibition and a award ceremony.

 Sufi Painting Award was awarded to Artist Vijay Singh Chouhan for his work on Mughal art work

Music award was awarded to Zakki Ali for their contribution from generation towards the Traditional Chishtiya Qawwali. 

The musical concert began with the soothing musical kalaam on sitar by Sitar Maestro Dr sudeep Rai

The mesmerizing voice of Vaishali Rai made the audience swing with chaap tilak and Rang

kathak exponent Manisha gulyani took the audience into a whirling experience with her mind blowing performance

The Traditional Chishtiya Sufi Ensemble of Zakki Ali  created a ambience of divine ecstasy and the audience was in  a state of trance 

Jha Saab of Kala Ankur, Ajay Vikram Singh Rathod ( ex defence Sec. ), Author Bakshish Singh attended the event.

A gala dinner was arranged by the organisers for all the guest

Ajmer to host the second Edition of Sufi Festival
